Merchant Listing
& Product Policy

The objectives of this policy are to:

• ensure accurate and transparent merchant listings
• prevent unlawful or unsafe goods from appearing on the platform
• protect users and merchants within the Aulax ecosystem
• maintain the integrity of Aulax discovery and commerce infrastructure.

Merchants remain solely responsible for the goods and services they offer through the platform.

Aulax provides digital infrastructure that enables merchants to present goods and services to users.

Aulax does not manufacture, store, inspect, prepare, distribute, or fulfil merchant goods and does not act as the seller of merchant products.

Merchants operate as independent businesses and remain responsible for the legality, safety, and quality of their offerings.

Merchants must ensure that all listings on the platform:

• accurately describe the goods or services offered
• comply with applicable laws and regulations
• reflect actual availability and pricing
• provide appropriate allergen or safety information where relevant.

Merchants must maintain accurate and up-to-date listings at all times.

Merchant listings must include accurate and complete information where applicable, including:

• product name and description
• price and applicable taxes
• product availability
• portion size or quantity where relevant
• dietary or allergen information where required by law.

Listings must not contain false, misleading, or deceptive information.

Images used in listings must:

• accurately represent the goods or services offered
• comply with intellectual property laws
• not contain misleading or deceptive visual representations.

Images must not contain offensive, unlawful, or inappropriate material.

To support platform discovery and improve user experience, the platform may display conceptual, illustrative, or representative images that demonstrate a product category rather than the exact item produced by a merchant.

Such images may be used to:

• standardise product presentation
• support platform discovery
• represent common product categories.

Merchants are responsible for replacing or updating conceptual images with accurate images of their own products where appropriate.

Aulax does not guarantee that conceptual or illustrative images reflect the exact appearance of products offered by merchants.

To improve platform functionality and discovery, Aulax may generate or populate merchant profiles, product listings, or descriptions using:

• publicly available information
• conceptual imagery
• algorithmic systems or automated tools
• standardised product templates.

Such content is provided for discovery and informational purposes only.

Merchants are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and maintaining the accuracy of all content associated with their profiles and listings once they gain access to the platform.

Merchants are responsible for all content associated with their listings including:

• product descriptions
• pricing
• images
• dietary information
• regulatory disclosures.

Where Aulax has generated or pre-populated listing information, merchants must review and correct such information.

Failure to update inaccurate content does not transfer responsibility to Aulax.

Where merchant profiles or listings are automatically generated or pre-populated by the platform, merchants are deemed to accept responsibility for such listings once they:

• activate a merchant account; or
• complete their first transaction through the platform.

Merchants are expected to review and correct listings within a reasonable timeframe after gaining access to their merchant account.

Aulax may create or display merchant discovery profiles using publicly available business information or other lawful sources in order to improve local discovery and support platform functionality.

Such information may include:

• business name
• location or address
• general business description
• service category
• representative images.

These profiles may be created regardless of whether a merchant has formally registered for the platform.

Merchants may claim and manage their profiles upon registration.

Aulax does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of publicly sourced information.

Merchants must ensure that pricing displayed on the platform:

• is accurate and up to date
• reflects the price charged to users
• includes taxes where required by law.

Misleading or deceptive pricing practices are prohibited.

Merchants must not list goods or services that are unlawful or prohibited under applicable law.

Prohibited listings include:

• illegal drugs or controlled substances
• counterfeit goods
• stolen goods
• unlawful weapons or dangerous items
• fraudulent services
• goods that infringe intellectual property rights.

Aulax may remove listings that violate these restrictions.

Where merchants offer regulated or age-restricted goods, merchants must comply with applicable legal requirements including:

• licensing obligations
• age verification requirements
• responsible sales practices.

Digital tools provided by the platform may assist verification but do not replace merchant legal obligations.

Merchants offering food products must comply with applicable food safety regulations.

Where applicable, listings must identify:

• major allergens
• dietary classifications where advertised (for example vegetarian or halal).

Merchants remain responsible for food safety and regulatory compliance.

Merchants must not attempt to manipulate platform discovery systems through:

• misleading product titles
• deceptive descriptions
• keyword stuffing
• duplicate listings intended to influence search results.

Listings designed to manipulate platform visibility may be removed.

Merchants must ensure that listings do not infringe intellectual property rights including:

• trademarks
• copyrighted images
• proprietary product names or branding.

Aulax may remove listings that violate intellectual property rights.

Aulax may monitor listings to protect platform integrity.

Where violations are identified, Aulax may take actions including:

• removal or modification of listings
• temporary listing restrictions
• suspension of merchant accounts
• termination of platform access.

Users and merchants may report listings that appear to violate this policy, including:

• misleading product descriptions
• prohibited goods
• intellectual property violations
• unsafe or unlawful products.

Aulax may investigate reports and take appropriate action.

Aulax may update this policy periodically to reflect:

• regulatory developments
• technological changes
• platform safety improvements.

Merchants are responsible for reviewing updated policies.
