Aulax provides technological systems supporting discovery, communication, and automated order processing.

Aulax does not manufacture, supply, prepare, store, or distribute goods offered by merchants and does not act as the seller of products listed on the platform.

Merchants remain responsible for the sale, preparation, quality, and fulfilment of goods and services provided to users.

Aulax processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation including:

• UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR)
• Data Protection Act 2018.

Aulax implements technical and organisational safeguards designed to ensure lawful, fair, and transparent processing of personal data.

Depending on the context of processing, Aulax and participating merchants may act as independent data controllers for their respective data processing activities.

Merchants remain responsible for complying with applicable consumer protection obligations relating to their goods or services.

Aulax conducts electronic communications and marketing activities in accordance with applicable regulations including:

• Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Marketing communications are sent only where an appropriate lawful basis exists, including user consent or legitimate interest where permitted by law.

Users may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

The Aulax platform may enable payment transactions between users and merchants.

Payment processing services are provided by authorised third-party payment service providers.

Aulax does not operate as:

• a payment institution
• a deposit-taking institution
• a money remittance provider.

Customer funds are processed and safeguarded by regulated payment service providers.

Where required, Aulax may assess whether regulatory engagement with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is appropriate.

Aulax maintains platform integrity procedures designed to reduce fraud and protect platform participants.

Merchants must maintain all licences, permits, or regulatory approvals required to operate their business.

Aulax does not independently verify merchant regulatory compliance but reserves the right to remove listings or restrict accounts where legal or regulatory concerns arise.

The Aulax platform may utilise automated systems and algorithms to support platform functionality including:

• merchant discovery
• search results
• personalised recommendations
• fraud detection
• platform optimisation.

These systems operate dynamically and do not constitute endorsements of merchants or guarantees of product quality or service availability.

Aulax periodically reviews its policies, procedures, and operational practices to support alignment with:

• evolving legal and regulatory requirements
• industry standards
• technological developments affecting platform infrastructure.
