User Agreement

Aulax provides digital infrastructure that facilitates connections between users and independent Merchants.

The Service enables users to:

• discover Merchants;
• browse Merchant listings;
• place orders;
• collect orders using the Aulax Order Code.

Aulax provides the technological infrastructure that facilitates these interactions.

Aulax does not sell goods or services directly and does not participate in the underlying transaction between users and Merchants.

All purchases and fulfilment obligations arise directly between the user and the Merchant. The Merchant is onboarded to a regulated third-party payment provider and is the recipient of payment. Aulax charges only its own facilitation and convenience fees, which are disclosed to you before you complete a transaction.

By using the Service you agree to comply with the following policies:

• Terms of Use
• Privacy Policy
• Acceptable Use Policy
• Trust & Safety Policy
• Content Moderation & Platform Transparency Policy

These documents form part of this Agreement and govern participation in the Service.

To use the Service you must be at least 18 years of age.

You must provide an accurate date of birth at registration. Aulax does not permit registration by anyone under 18.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

Users are responsible for:

• safeguarding login credentials;
• protecting authentication methods;
• maintaining accurate account information.

Users remain responsible for activities conducted through their account unless caused by Aulax system failure.

Orders placed through the Service generate a unique Aulax Order Code — a collection PIN that confirms the handover of an order between the Merchant and the user. An order cannot be collected or released without it.

Users may cancel an order only before the Merchant accepts the order.

Once a Merchant accepts an order, the order enters the Merchant’s fulfilment process and cannot be cancelled through the Service.

Where a user wishes to cancel an order after acceptance, the user must contact the Merchant directly. The Merchant may, at its sole discretion, agree to or refuse such cancellation.

Aulax does not control Merchant fulfilment processes and is not responsible for Merchant cancellation or refund decisions once an order has been accepted.

Users remain responsible for safeguarding the Order Code associated with their purchase.

Nothing in this section affects statutory consumer rights under applicable law.

Payments are processed through a regulated third-party payment provider.

Users agree not to initiate payment disputes, chargebacks, or payment reversals for transactions that have been properly fulfilled by the Merchant.

If a user believes an order was not fulfilled or was incorrectly processed, the user should first contact the Merchant to seek resolution.

Where a user initiates an unjustified chargeback or payment dispute, Aulax may:

• recover associated processing costs;
• suspend or restrict the user’s account;
• take reasonable steps to prevent further misuse of the Service.

Nothing in this section affects statutory consumer rights.

The Service may display Merchant profiles, product listings, business descriptions, and other information relating to businesses available through Aulax.

Some Merchant profiles may be created using publicly available information, automated systems, or algorithmic categorisation to support discovery.

Such profiles may appear even where a business has not yet registered or verified an account.

Information associated with non-verified businesses may be incomplete, estimated, or inaccurate.

Aulax does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of information associated with non-verified businesses.

Businesses that complete verification and onboarding are responsible for maintaining accurate information relating to their listings.

Users should exercise independent judgment when relying on Merchant information.

Certain product images or descriptions displayed through the Service may be conceptual, illustrative, or representative images intended to demonstrate product categories rather than exact items offered by a Merchant.

Actual goods may differ from such representations.

The Service may allow users to provide preferences such as dietary preferences or lifestyle choices (for example vegetarian, vegan, halal, or similar preferences) to enhance personalisation and discovery.

Such preference information is used solely to improve the user experience.

User preference data is not used to automatically determine allergen safety or medical suitability of products.

Users remain responsible for reviewing ingredient information, allergen disclosures, and product details before purchasing or consuming any goods.

Merchants are responsible for providing accurate product and allergen information where required by law.

Aulax does not guarantee that preference settings will identify or prevent exposure to allergens or dietary risks.

The Service may use automated systems or algorithms to support:

• Merchant discovery;
• product suggestions;
• search results;
• personalised recommendations.

These outputs may be influenced by signals such as user preferences, location, engagement patterns, and activity.

Algorithmic recommendations are intended to enhance discovery only.

They do not constitute endorsements, guarantees of quality, safety, or suitability of any product or Merchant.

Users remain responsible for evaluating products and Merchants before making purchasing decisions.

Users must not:

• engage in fraudulent transactions;
• manipulate the Service or its underlying systems;
• bypass or interfere with order verification or collection controls, including the Aulax Order Code;
• interfere with infrastructure operations;
• upload unlawful or harmful content;
• harass Merchants or other users.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of accounts.

Users may submit reviews, ratings, or feedback relating to Merchants or experiences.

Such content represents the opinion of the user and not the views of Aulax.

By submitting content, users grant Aulax a non-exclusive licence to display such content within the Service.

Aulax may monitor activity using automated systems to detect fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity.

Accounts may be restricted or suspended where necessary to protect the integrity of the Service.

Personal data is processed in accordance with:

• the Privacy Policy;
• UK GDPR;
• the Data Protection Act 2018.

Users may exercise rights including access, correction, and deletion of personal data.

The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

Aulax does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Aulax may update, modify, improve, or discontinue features of the Service from time to time.

Such updates may include:

• application updates;
• feature changes;
• algorithmic system updates;
• infrastructure improvements.

Users may be required to install application updates in order to continue accessing certain features.

Aulax does not guarantee the continued availability of specific features.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence;
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to applicable law, Aulax shall not be liable for:

• Merchant actions or omissions;
• inaccurate Merchant information;
• losses arising from shared Order Codes;
• indirect or consequential loss.

Aulax may suspend or terminate accounts where necessary to address:

• violations of platform policies;
• fraud or abuse;
• security risks.

You may close or delete your account at any time from within the Aulax app. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise the personal data that identifies you. Some records are kept where the law requires — for example, transaction records retained for tax purposes — or in an anonymised form that no longer identifies you. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

The Aulax legal framework operates under a set of agreements and operational policies.

Where inconsistencies arise between documents:

• Terms of Use govern matters relating to access and participation.
• Privacy Policy governs matters relating to personal data processing.
• Operational policies (including Trust & Safety, Acceptable Use, and Content Moderation policies) govern behaviour and enforcement.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
